Lead and work closely with laboratory and medical team to analyze and report molecular testing results: Principally improving QC, determining clinically relevant abnormalities, accurate reporting and improving readability of reports to accommodate clinicians needs evolving reporting to continually to be competitive. Work with other company's and their Bioinformatic groups to compile variant, clinical, laboratory databases for reporting and interpreting molecular testing results. Work with other bioinformatics groups to develop algorithms to automate reporting of molecular testing results. Work with R & D and Technologists to improve variant, indel, translocation, CNV Calling. Work with Medical & Scientific team, R&D, marketing and sales on developing new tests and improving current tests. Work with marketing and sales on developing literature to explain NeoGenomics testing Help in research projects and contribute to science in the form of scientific papers publications. Help in developing new algorithms in analyzing NGS data, e.g. improving alignment, variant calling, QC, annotation pipelines, that will facilitate report writing.
