Région de Villeurbanne, France The title of my PhD work is: 'A generic Approach towards the Collaborative Construction of Digital Scholarly Editions'. Intuitively speaking, my proposition is built upon the notion that going digital enables a scholarly edition to be a living, up-to-date editorial object, instead of being frozen in time at the moment it is printed. Intuitively speaking, my proposition is built upon the notion that going digital enables a scholarly edition to be a living, up-to-date editorial object, instead of being frozen in time at the moment it is printed. In the context of my PhD work, I have worked in collaboration with four editorial teams gathering more than 150 researchers in Humanities. In technical terms, I am concerned with the notions of Collaborative Work, of Data Structuring and Validation. I have taught courses on the AGILE method (64h) and on Relational Database Theory (22h). I have supervised an internship whose topic was the querying of graph structured data. Show less

Région de Paris, France The purpose of this work was to set the basis for the first Scholarly Edition of the Encyclopédie by Diderot and D'Alembert. In this context, my task was to define an RelaxNG-Schematron schema for the data representing the Encyclopédie and the critical apparatus for it, and to design a reading Web interface for the edition itself. Following this preliminary study, the project has kept going and is now available online at http://enccre.academie-sciences.fr/ice/
