      I was given an opportunity for work placement at the Hertford County Hospital which was organised by a consultant clinical neurophysiologist at the hospital. The consultant structured the work placement in such that I could gain tangible experience working at the forefront of various fields in medicine such as paediatrics, neurology, dermatology and neurophysiology; as well as thorough teaching on using and interpreting data from an electroencephalogram (EEG) including the process of electromyography (EMG).
