Technical Director

In charge of driving the technical activity, helped by a skilled team of experienced software engineers, supported by a listening executive team. My role was to help everybody focusing on its expertise domain: executive to get business, technical team to deliver in time. I tried to cover the needs in terms of team/project/product/support/QA management & external communication. We started by aggregating several software components on a hardware we inherited from a previous attempt by another company. Tough but rich! :) We ended by building a reference design including a Software Development Kit and a hardware ref design to help the CAM business stepping into CI+ 2.0 and the arrival of USB interface. Working as a presales & support engineer I was one of the main customers interface. Supporting sales representatives, our team had several roles. Software and Application Engineer

Member of LSI consumer electronic group I started as a developer on DTV products (mainly in C). I first developed middleware components for ATSC products. Then I've been in charge of integrating Cabot Communications’ DVB stack (Aurora) on LSI DoMiNo™ platforms. Following this integration I worked as a FAE to support our customer Philips in finalizing its product (the DVDR 5500, a DVD recorder/player with a DVB-T tuner). I worked daily in a multicultural environment as an interface between LSI teams (Bangalore, Milpitas), our partner Cabot (Bristol) and our customer. I was in charge of the field tests in Europe (England, Germany, Spain and France). Show less
