Our “Le Ventoux” unit incorporates 14 beds dedicated to end-of-life palliative care and six long-stay beds for oncological patients. It is completed by an intrahospital mobile team and a day hospital. This relatively new unit has a nursing team made up mainly of dynamic young nurses, who are keen to learn, and who assist their patients with the needs of their day-to-day lives in a most attentive manner. Relying on this desire to learn and the quality objectives advocated by the clinic, I strive to share my many years of experience and my knowledge to provide optimal care for our patients who are suffering from very serious pathologies, advanced, deleterious cancers. We work to give this care with the utmost scientific rigour. Faced with the great distress of patients, the nursing staff and the paramedics provide them with attention and support imbued with a real warmth that is met with rarely. Show less
