MedRoom is building a platform that allows students to engage and study in a virtual world through multiple lenses: VR (virtual reality), mobile and web apps; allowing students to work on a virtual labs where they can freely explore the human body in unprecedented detail, through guided experiences crafted by their professors and participate on clinical simulations. MedRoom is an award-winning Brazilian startup focused on developing applications for health training with virtual reality. Winners of the Global Impact Challenge from Singularity University, BIG Starter 2017 as the best education game, finalists in the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge 2017. Our goal is to reduce the gap between theory and practice for students and healthcare professionals.
