  Took a great concept for transformational learning and developed and built key team, program, and operational elements to scale it to a globally known brand. Three years later, lead the digital transformation of this phenomenally successful in-person learning experience into an impactful, immersive, collaborative online one. • Lead program and curriculum design, teaching, coaching, and coach recruitment and training for innovation and entrepreneurship programs. • In five years, designed and delivered 40 programs in 14 countries and online to 2800+ students, ages 18-77, from 100+ countries in open admissions and corporate programs. Worked closely with MIT and Harvard Medical School faculty. Built a coaching team of 40+ entrepreneurs from all industries and six continents to guide students. • Directly raised/sold $4.5m+ in underwriting and private programs; $1m+ in-kind. Built partnerships globally with academic institutions, multi-laterals, governments, foundations, corporations, conferences, and media. • Co-conceived, built, and delivered the now foundational MIT-HMS Healthcare Innovation Bootcamp with partners at the Center for Primary Care at Harvard Medical School. • Provided scholarships to 100+ refugee students through the MIT ReACT program, in-person and online. • Co-authoring curriculum on Impact Entrepreneurship and a book on coaches as educators (works in progress). • 2019 Infinite Mile Award recipient Show less

  Demeter is a network of more than 130 people committed to improving the success of entrepreneurs in low-income countries (LICs). Borne out of the experiences of young entrepreneurs from MIT and Harvard, Demeter provides continuous, long-term, hands-on business and self-development support to talented, passionate, committed entrepreneurs in LICs. This support is also targeted at “returners” and “homegrown” entrepreneurs, providing resources to reduce or reverse the brain drain. Demeter individualizes support to each entrepreneur according to a self-assessment of the skills and experiences necessary to be a successful entrepreneur in their field. Support is provided primarily by a dedicated Personal Advocate (PA), an experienced businessperson who commits to coaching the entrepreneur for four hours per month for a minimum of three years. This support from PAs is complemented by a network of industry, regional, and functional experts, online classes, the Demeter Content Library (which contains entrepreneur–generated content), and other programs to meet entrepreneurs’ needs. The Demeter Network is virtual, and with 25 global partnerships in a range of domains and regions, Demeter’s impact extends far beyond the more than 130 individual in the network. Show less
