  I worked as a Development engineer related to Chain hoist products. I supported production operations for a Konecranes factory in China and was involved in a production ramp-up project in a Konecranes factory in Finland. My areas of expertise were creating and updating manufacturing BOMs in SAP and defining the production scopes of individual production lines as well as training and supporting the assemblers in production operations. My tasks included also supporting the production line in identifying bottlenecks of production flow and improving the productivity, I was strongly in troubleshooting production flow and quality problems and SAP interface of production operations. • Master's Thesis Worker

  I did a Master's thesis project which consisted relocating a production line within a Konecranes factory in China. My thesis focused in implementing development ideas into production according to Lean and Western production philosophies. As result, the production line's productivity improved by 10% and the production line layout was optimized resulting in saving almost 42% of floor space.

  I worked at Konecranes as a summer intern in the rope drum production line. During the summer season, I had various different tasks at the same time: I supported and substituted the production line supervisor and partly substituted the production planning personnel as well as operated as the warehouse worker of the production line. Among my other tasks, I studied the SAP transactions used in the production, worked as a SAP support and developed the work queues of work centers. After the summer season, I continue working as a part-time trainee in Operational Excellence Assembly & System Support team in a project related to Konecranes factory in China. Show less
