  I helped Microsoft Premier customers in resolving their SQL Server related technical problems across all supported versions of the product with topics ranging from deployment to complex server performance issues. I covered the core SQL Server components but also supported Integration Services (SSIS) and data connectivity. I worked on incidents that were either reactive or proactive. A reactive incident addressed a particular technical problem that may affect the entire business operation of an organization thus requires immediate assistance, resolution or applying a workaround while a proactive engagement meant consultation and answering the customer's how-to questions. I worked with multiple customers on many parallel problems at the same time and these engagements could take for weeks or even months each depending on the complexity and the nature of the problem. Throughout the troubleshooting process with a customer I often worked closely with the local or global Premier business teams and Consulting Services. I also handled product servicing escalations by working with the SQL Server Escalation Services team and the SQL Server Product Group to analyze and raise product specific problems as reported by customers.I was focused on performance troubleshooting and diagnostics, biggest challenge being to find the root-cause of intermittent performance degradations in a highly complex and multi-layered Production environment.I delivered a workshop session at TechDays 2013 (local event for Premier customers) with a topic on SQL Server wait statistics.I was doing onsite workshops at Premier customers on SQL Server troubleshooting methods and approaches.I was responsible for achieving high customer satisfaction results.
