This included planning the project, collaborating with two other teams, managing timelines, implementing the code, and performing E2E testing. We reduced latency by 17% and freed up around 20-40 ECS containers running the monolith codebase. - Delivery lead for project to build a custom job alerts solution. I was responsible for the project end-to-end including making sure it was completed within the deadline, preventing any issues through comprehensive testing, and providing support/maintenance through timely bug fixes. - Take ownership over the performance of our services and troubleshoot latency and resource utilisation issues. Successfully resolved CPU utilisation issues on one of our primary RDS clusters, identified and solved an issue that led to a sudden spike in our search latency. - providing mentorship to a junior developer.
