KROSSWINDZ from Calcutta India,we are the first band from the eastern region of India to release an album of English originals way back in 1993 called SINGLES.We have also released a full length English originals album called ONE WORLD in 2002 .We also have releases from RSJ records Delhi ,Chandrani's originals were featured in GIR vol 1 and 2.We have 9 albums in our regional language Bengali of which 5 are full length albums and the other 4 are compilations. We toured the US in October 2007-we played for Sandusky Radio in SEATTLE,and we played concerts at the following cities-Los Angeles,San Fransisco,Chicago,Jersey City,Atlanta and Seattle. We are focusing on fusion with jazz leanings right now.We are working on our new English album. Krosswindz completes eighteen years - a time to do something special, so look out for our new English album this winter with songs in a truly unique World/rock tonality instrumentation in the inimitable style of Krosswindz.
