Working as part of the Business Systems team that specialises in Sales, Marketing & Customer Services Applications, my team covers the full lifecycle of CUP solutions from business requirements gathering and functional analysis documentation through to development, service and support for a global set of business users.I work across many different applications in this landscape including our Global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on a Salesforce platform and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. I lead significant work streams with internal and/or external teams and my role is both technical and business facing. I am responsible for how we collect, transfer, secure and process customer data in Academic Marketing, for the systems that house that data and the systems that support the marketing department in achieving their collective objectives. I mentor an oversees support team and provide systems, digital marketing and best practise training around data and how best to make use of marketing systems. We currently use Salesforce Sales and Marketing Clouds, Filemaker, MasterVision, Monday.com, SAP and a plethora of in-house applications built specifically to our specifications. These tools seek to facilitate the development of our customer knowledge and our revenue opportunities to support the essential growth of the business therefore I am the business owner for developing and maintaining these systems and collating the requirements for those processes with c.75 global users as well as working with my colleagues in other divisions of the business.
