As security systems design engineers, one of the most demanding aspects of my team's job is keeping up with technological innovations, and incorporating them appropriately into the integrated system designs that we create. Much of the time it is necessary to rely on manufacturers to educate us on their products and support our efforts, with varying degrees of success.
