When I first heard about Vika, it was with a VP and top performing sales rep (who was also one of PagerDuty's very 1st sales reps!) in the cafeteria of PagerDuty’s SF office. All I heard was that she was a multilingual beast from Mulesoft who served in the US Navy and spent time studying Mandarin and Entrepreneurship at Peking University in China on full scholarship from UC Berkeley. She lived up to hype, not only has she been one of the top 5-10% performing reps company-wide landing some of the largest deals in her segment and earning 2 promotions within a short period of time, she’s also an advocate for diversity on the sales team. Be it gender, ethnic, or hiring veterans, she is there. She is also a leader at PagerDuty for a long list of another initiatives, such as: organizing and moderating a Women in Sales panel with panelists like the legend women's advocate, mentor, board member, founder - Joe Sexton - and VPs of Sales at large corporations. She is a founder and learder of an Employee Resource Group, promoting veteran hiring and success and was invited by PagerDuty’s CRO to speak at a company all hands about the ERG and how military skills translate into business. Vika gets invited by senior leadership to over 80% company-wide pilot programs related to increasing sales productivity and goal setting; she is an official (recommended by her Director and VP) and unofficial mentor to new hires, speaks at monthly new hire bootcamps, etc. On a personal level she is also a dear friend who helped me countless times with coaching me through closing complex deals or cutting up how to resolve customer issues (insert a certain telco here). She will be a Chief Revenue Officer or CEO one day and I’m here for it.

Leader, innovator, and dynamic are few of the many words I would use to describe Vika about her leadership, personality, and professionalism. While on the biggest regional sales team at MuleSoft, Vika offered thoughtful perspectives to our customers and always had a positive attitude to get any task done. She was the type of team player that would always go above and beyond to set her team, customers, and company up for success. If ever faced with a challenging situation, you’ll find Vika standing in front ready to face it head-on with a fearless mentality. One of the biggest strengths about Vika is her determination to always choose the most challenging path forward - as a way to continually push herself out of her comfort zone and grow as an individual and professional. I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with Vika and am so confident that she will continue to bring her boldness, abilities to have tough conversations, and her intellectual curiosity to leave an impact on any team she becomes a part of.
