A chain of maternity hospitals providing dignified affordable quality maternity care to the working poor communities of the urban areas. Making pre-, intra- and post-natal maternity care, including emergency obstetric care, accessible to the target communities is the focus. Recent partnerships forged include those with IPE Global (for community extension centres) and Brandix (for implementing MCH as part of their CSR). Recent studies completed include a study in the areas of Mirzapur/Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Chota Udepur/Narmada districts in Gujarat and Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka. Show less

I worked for the World Bank aided District Poverty Initiatives Project in Anantapur District. I handled the portfolios of Monitoring and Evaluation, Livelihoods. The project support about 10 lakh population in community mobilization around savings and livelihoods interventions. NRM, education of girl child, social action to improve demand for health services were also major focus of the intervention.
