Managers who can combine strong technical skill with a well-developed EQ and innate leadership skills can write their own ticket in their career. Vijay Raghavan is such a person. I have known and worked closely with Vijay for many years. . It is obviously clear from his background and career progression that Vijay is a skilled and experienced engineer. What has always impressed me about Vijay is how well rounded he is. He is multi-lingual, multi-cultural and demonstrates an above average understanding and knowledge of organizational dynamics. He is impressive, talented and very nice man who treats others with respect, dignity and appreciation. In addition to his many talents, Vijay is a man of great passion who approaches everything he does with a dedication and solid sense of purpose. He is a man who sees all that he does as a personal mission and opportunity for growth and excellence. During his time in the Cornell Executive MBA Americas program, I have seen Vijay excel in difficult team situations with skill, finesse and tact that was not only inspiring, but resulted in positive difference in the team with which he was working. Any organization seeking to partner with a person of extraordinary technical talent, who possesses multi-cultural abilities and has an innate ability to inspire and lead others, would be wise to get to know Vijay Raghavan.

Vijay and I were classmates in the Cornell-Queens MBA program. I found Vijay to be analytical, hard-working and very good with strategy. Vijay is passionate about IT and has a good grasp on all other industries. For example, during the MBA program Vijay was able to recall facts, figures and anecdotes from diverse industries and domains that were a great additions to the conversation or debate. Additionally, Vijay is strong contributor and team-player and fun to work with. I highly recommend Vijay to anyone looking for a management professional with strong background in operations and strategy.
