I worked closely with Vijay at VF and Kontoor. I saw from close quarters Vijay's transition from a sourcing professional to become the Head of SCM for India. Some of Vijay's leadership qualities that stood out were his solution oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, willingness to take risks and go into unexplored areas and solving those problems for the company. Besides these, Vijay demonstrated excellent people skills and rallied his team to deliver strong performance consistently. Warehouse operations was an entirely new area for him, but his diligence helped him to gain a very strong control in that area as well. Vijay will be a great asset to any team and I wish him the very best for his future.
