Box Office Assistant
-
Jan 2018 - Mar 2020
I worked at both Irving Plaza and Gramercy Theatre. I began my box office assistant position as a ticket scanner, coat checker, and usher. I was quickly promoted to selling tickets through Ticketmaster, creating comp tickets, managing customer accounts, refunding tickets, etc. I managed the guest list for the venue, artists, artists management and agent, and promotional guests. I was also responsible for creating end of show audit reports. This position enhanced my communication skills by constantly relaying information between the artist team, the house team, the artists themselves, and the customers. I have excellent customer service skills and can handle the largest of characters. My time working in the dynamic environment of live music strengthened my ability to prioritize, keep calm under pressure, and vigorously multitask. I can easily adapt and deliver in fast-paced environments. Show less

A&R Assistant
-
May 2019 - Aug 2019
After my A&R internship ended, I was asked to stay on by the President of the label as his A&R assistant. I curated playlists with artists I found relevant and of interest to the label. I was sent playlists with up and coming artists from the A&R team in Los Angeles, and filed through them to present only the most intriguing ones to the President. I continued to attend unsigned artists' shows and provide performance reviews to the head of A&R and the President. When his personal assistant was out of office, I stepped in to manage his personal and professional phone calls, as well as his calendar. Show less

A&R Intern
-
Jan 2019 - May 2019
As an A&R intern, I sought out new, unsigned artists for weekly pitches to the head of A&R. I tracked artists and performed research on music trends and news, streaming, festivals, music blogs, etc. I was in charge of updating the music industry partner databases (producers, songwriters, engineers) and I filed audio content and artist info (lyrics, credits, festival appearances, tour schedules, etc). I fielded demo submissions and logged them in order of interest and relevance to the label. I also attended unsigned artists' live shows and provided performance reviews to the A&R team. Show less

Brand Partnerships Intern
-
Sep 2018 - Dec 2018
As an intern for MAC Presents, I performed research on artists, brands, and cultural trends. I created, researched, and distributed weekly newsletters recapping the week’s news in brand activations and music partnerships. I also actively researched social media strategy and helped plan and execute experiential activations (campaign planning, preparation, and production). MAC Presents interns took a trip to Los Angeles in 2018 to assist with the Uber VISA activation at the Cal Jam festival. We provided onsite support for the Uber VISA and artist teams, and ensured the pop-up activation went smoothly. Show less

WNYU DJ for The Sound Between
-
Jan 2017 - Sep 2018
I started my college radio experience as a DJ for a show that played exclusively French music from the 1960s and 70s (from 1:30-3:30 AM!). A semester later, I moved on to hosting a show called The Sound Between, a music broadcast that highlights music from new underrepresented artists and genres that have been released within the past 6 months. This show was thankfully in the afternoon, a prime lunch slot. I also performed research on artist affiliations, release information, and metadata.
