San Francisco Bay Area I was one of the first product managers to be hired when Silver Spring was one of the valley's hottest startups in its heyday, pre-IPO. Besides traditional product management, I had a dizzying amount of other responsibilities as well- deployment management, proposal development, solution development and for a brief time, support.

Greater Los Angeles Area My first gig as a product manager. This job was eye opening on many fronts- how data can save and improve lives and how to turn data into a compelling software product. I was fortunate to work with the who's-who in the world of Diabetes and with Engineers that were dedicated to improving patients' lives. I tried to make a little dent in the world by making a humble contribution towards that mission. By the time I left, I managed all the software products for their Diabetes division.
