Dr Tracey Warren

I had the pleasure of working with Vidu when she worked with children within the early intervention program for private speech therapy. Vidu had a great impact on the children she worked with. She provided the educators with advice and suggestions to support the children during class which was always considerate of the context and how it could be managed in a group situation. Vidu had positive relationships with the parents giving them support and guidance for home implementation of any speech therapy goals.

      - Helped develop resources for a number of children who predominantly communicated non-verbally using Picture Exchange Communication (PECS) with children aged between 5 and 12 years - Observed a number of sessions run by two of the team members - for my general learning, including group and individual sessions, which also included the school's early intervention program for children under 4 years - Communicated closely with some of the class teachers to help personalise the PECS resources for each child - Conducted an early intervention session with two children under the age of 4 years along with an occupational therapist
