Optics (Jan '15 - Sept '15) During my last trainee period I worked as an optical engineer in the Optics department on projects involving the following topics: spectroscopy for earth-observation satellites, laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, retinal imaging. Aside from these projects I contributed to internal process optimization and department strategy projects. Smart Mobility (May '14 - Dec '14) During this second trainee-period I worked as a data scientist on creating a platform for data fusion and analysis of cyclist mobility. This includes big data analysis, sensor data fusion, pattern recognition, etc. Equipment for Additive Manufacturing (Sept '13 - Apr '14) During the first trainee-period I worked as a additive manufacturing scientist on topics involvinge machine vision and in-line inspection for metal additive manufacturing and additive manufacturing process optimization.
