The practice, while LaToya was at the helm, was a fine oiled machine. She was one of the first people I had met during my brief stay at Mount Sinai, and I could not have been more grateful. She had a deep knowledge of processes and contacts that was invaluable to me and my doctor's practice. I don't think I could have managed without her, and I was devastated to see her go (but happy to see her go on to a better opportunity). She was always professional and deeply understanding, patient, and accommodating with not only her colleagues, but, most importantly, the patients, who were often elderly, requiring lots of extra attention in assuring they understood instructions and their insurance benefits. She was always several steps ahead of the doctor, anticipating every need. Plus she's crazy smart to boot. An ENORMOUS asset to any company and industry, not just healthcare!
