For one month over the summer holidays twice weekly.Through lesson planning and preparing worksheets and activities for lessons I taught someone with no prior foreign language skills the essentials of the language. They progressed from having no knowledge of French at all to entering it at Key Stage 3 level to which they responded well and managed to perform at the same level as the rest of their class who had been learning the language for two years more.

Spent two weeks boarding in Paris with a French family while also gaining work experience in a local primary school and town hall. Taught five year old children basic English through means they would understand such as pictures and songs and worked in a local town hall doing various office tasks such as logging pupil information into a computer system.

Spent three days in a high street firm which specialises in areas such as conveyancing, criminal law and family law.Researched historical cases and archived information to learn more about how a case progresses into a courtroom and also sought information about a client requested by the solicitor. Observed court proceedings to gain a better understanding about how the process works and how solicitors behave and react in a court setting.
