As a member of Accenture´s retail club, I had the opportunity to attend a Careers planning whole-day event with consultants from Pax Ledarskap who helped us students find out our personality type and what job we are most likely to be suited for. We used the Myers-Briggs Type personality test and I found out that I am what they call an ESFJ type, which stands for Extraversion, Sensing, Thinking and Judging. The ESFJ personality type, also known as "The Caregiver" or "The Consul," is one of the 16 personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). People with an ESFJ personality type tend to be outgoing, loyal, organized, and tender-hearted. ESFJs gain energy from interacting with other people. One project has been "How traceability positively engages customers and drives value to companies", of which I was a part of the micro-perspective, ie the consumer perspective. We then summarized all perspectives into a report that we presented at Accenture´s headquarters on June 8, 2016.

Through the programme I got assigned a female mentee, currently studying at a high school level, whom I have been seeing at a semi-weekly basis throughout the year. The network is founded on mutual respect, openness and loyalty – values consistent with my own. I am grateful to be part of such an important initiative and to be able to pass on my experiences to young women as they graduate high school and take the next step in their lives. Show less

This year we received a record number of nominations and over 50% of these nominees subsequently applied to become mentee in Head Start 2016/2017. The kick-off event was held at Epicenter in collaboration with SelfLeaders, of course, the central content of the evening was learning more about oneself through value based exercises. Our second get together was held at Tieto's Swedish headquarters. We had a panel debate about work-life balance and followed it up with a workshop about life balance. The third event was held in cooperation with Nordnet's (Internet Bank) chief of Sweden Eva Trouin, Feminvest's (investor network for women) project leader Anna Svahn, Finansinspektionen's (an supervisory authority that monitors the companies on the financial market in Sweden) Kristina Althoff who is the project leader of "Gilla din ekonomi" ("Like your economy") and Unga Aktiesparare's (Young Stocksavers) CEO Tove Zander. The evening headline was "Equal pay is not enough" and focused teaching the ladies attending about what they can do to improve their terms of employment, salary, pension and what consequences be aware of regarding having children in the future and how to start saving their money more efficiently. The fourth and final gathering was at the health teach focused coworking space H2 (Health Hub) where we listened to female entrepreneurs, Anna Norin COO at MedUniverse and Eva Hutmatch founder of Snabbfoting. The reason I wanted to work in this area, alongside my studies, is that this is highly relevant at the moment. Employment continues to rise in the service sector and the home service grocery bag delivery boom likewise while the interest from consumers exceeds expectations. This gives me the opportunity, therefore, to put the skills I learn in school to practical application. An example of this is that City Gross is at the forefront of digitization, as they use a voice picking system that minimizes picking errors.
