When I think of advocacy and thought leadership, I think of Victoria. Her background in public policy shines through by bringing the human element to every conversation and project we’ve collaborated or consulted each other on. Her ability to plan initiatives that include the big picture, small details and human design is intentional and impactful. She is a reliable person and is a true advocate determined to provide the tech ecosystem with equitable and applicable solutions. Having Victoria as an accountability and thought partner in the social impact space has been fundamental to the implementation of interventions in the GET Cities DC work.

Several words come to mind when I think of Victoria, including brilliant, thoughtful, and consistent. During Leadership for Educational Equity’s Digital Organizing Fellowship, I had the pleasure of supporting and teaching Victoria as a fellow for a community organizing group in Miami. As the person who designed and facilitated the fellowship program, I was always in awe of how Victoria consistently looked for ways to help the other fellows in her cohort while learning about and applying, the knowledge being taught. Her work ethic is strong, her commitment to continuous learning is inspiring, and her deliverables are always met on-time and with great quality. She’s also just a great person to be around! As someone who has had a front-row seat to her incredible organizing and communications work, I can comfortably say any employee would be lucky to have her on their team.
