Vicki is a true professional and an asset to Western Media. She displays a keen eye for detail which is evident in her writing, editing and proofing. Vicki is also deadline oriented, and in my six years working with her, she has never been late on an assignment. She is dependable and adaptable—two qualities that are hard to find in an employee.

If you’re being pulled in all directions to meet the demands of multiple delivery platforms, you are not alone!!! Most people in organizations today live in multiarchies of some form and have to deal with multiple bosses. To do well you have to take the initiative yourself. Content is usually the last thing on the list to get everyone’s attention, more often than not, you look to make it work depending on what platform is chosen. Everyone worries about how much of it is there but that doesn’t matter if the content isn’t right to begin with. This is where the content editor comes in or in my case where Vicki comes in. Vicki singlehandedly was able to pull together strategy plans for the creation, delivery, and the governance of content that worked in the platform of choice. She worked collaboratively (and tirelessly) with editorial and other departments to plan, develop, manage, the extension of our print-based materials. She was an integral team member in all phases of creation and was responsible for manuscript and/or storyboards, prototypes and specifications for both online and CD-ROM content delivery. Vicki was able to work with deadlines and had excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills and must of all demonstrated initiative. I will miss working with her initiative and highly recommend her to someone looking to solve their content development issues.
