As a content specialist, I led a team of writers as we wrote a wide variety of content for a growing international community of SMBs and enterprise customers. Nulia is a tech startup, and the culture is very group orientated, which gave me the opportunity to work closely with the CEO of the company during content review sessions. With the fast pace of updates Microsoft puts out, my team and I were constantly improving our content, which ensured users had the most update-to-date information. As a recipient of the 2019 Charles Snowden Program for Excellence in Journalism, I was placed at Siuslaw News in Florence, OR where I worked closely with the editor and staff at the publication to gain hands-on experience reporting within Florence's local community. As the first Snowden intern at Siuslaw News I produced 18 articles in three months and my reporting strengthened the publications’ connection to the local community. My work can be found online and in print.
