SYC is an industrial manufacturer of permanent 3D displays for retail, theme parks, and museums. I created and maintain the current brands and identities for the three companies under the SYC umbrella: Studio Y Creations (SYC), Imagination Dental Solutions (IDS), and VIVARRA. This involves a broad range of skills and responsibilities: ► Creating all graphics and messaging for print materials, including: trade show booth graphics, brochures, flyers, business cards, magazine ads, and sales materials such as catalogues. Taking designs from initial concept, to final design, to print ready documents. Working with local and remote print shops to price, produce, and deliver finished materials based on design specifications. ► Creating the graphics and messaging for the online presence, including: the UI and UX design of the website, landing pages, newsletter and eblasts, online advertisements, and social media promotional materials. ► Managing a small team of marketing and design specialists as well as acting as liaison between other departments leads. Delegating tasks for web coder, social media manager, and junior graphic designer. Reviewing and approving work created by the team. Hiring and training new additions to the marketing department. ► Operating and performing regular maintenance for: large format printer (Mimaki), laminator, and vinyl plotter. Managing stock of vinyls, laminates, and ink. ► Creating identities for dental office clients through the IDS brand, including: logo, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and referral pads. ► Documenting all production work through photographs. Retouching final product images for print and web. ► Consistently producing materials on or ahead of schedule in deadline-focused environment. Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines. ► Heading the Social Committee, a volunteer position that includes planning staff events and implementing reward systems.
