Conduct inventories and track object movements; rehouse artifacts; and catalogue new acquisitions. • Prepare objects for exhibitions and loans. • Contribute to the growth and development of FHM's collection: Create, organize and present to the FHM Collection Committee an ongoing list of objects offered for donation or available for acquisition. Conduct provenance research. Create and maintain all donation files and generate legal documents on new acquisitions. • Administer FHM policies and procedures: Update and maintain the FHM Facility Report, Emergency Preparedness Handbook, and Collections Management Policy. • Develop cost projections and monitor department budget. • Works cross-departmentally with Curatorial, Education, Operations and Marketing. • Supervise all Exhibition and Collection Department volunteers and interns: Coordinate schedules, projects and training. PROJECTS • Implemented a major ongoing collection data cleaning project in the FHM collections database, KE EMu. • Organized and prepared portions of the FHM permanent collection to be launched online using IMu, the web platform for EMu. • Collaborated with department heads and board members in the real estate search, budget research and logistical planning for outfitting a new facility and relocating the collection.
