The tasks set forth in the assignment were to convert the regulatory word original Quality (CTD Module 3) documents, forming the basis for the EMA Marketing Authority Applications for two novel drugs. Following conversion, the document were to be maintained in working internal document templates, adhering to internal document format standards and this must be performed and QC'd as to ensure no corruption of contents. Preferably, part(s) of the conversion may be performed by developing software tool(s) to automate some of the tasks implied. "The outcome was fully according to plan; routines were programmed in VBA to perform initial conversion and this worked very well. The code will be available to use (with small adjustments) for other projects/documents in the future. The initial conversion was followed by manual adjustments of unique properties, referring to originals, for each document and finally, QC by second part. The final document count was 398 original documents, in total 4491 pages that were coonverted to Sobi format and output as 309 documents and in total 4536 pages." Show less
