I'm currently working at Paso a Paso Escuela Infantil as an ESL with children from 1-3 years of age. My role is to introduce them to my mother tongue English. I've had to develop lesson plans on themes such as Summer, Things about Town, My School, Christmas, Occupations, transportation, etc. We sing songs in English during circletime, they learn new vocabulary through singing and dancing and the use of flashcards.I send weekly reports home to keep parents informed about the progress of their children, activities that we are currently doing, and give them extra support in materials, songs, etc that they could use at home with their children.
