In August 2017, I was offered and accepted a leadership position with Sea School, in St. Petersburg, FL. Since 1977, Sea School has provided U.S. Merchant Mariner's training, education and original license preparation courses for those mariners preparing for USCG licenses up to 200 GRT Ocean. The Sea School's network of professional maritime educators and captains allows Sea School to issue over 10,000 separate course completion certificates each year. Graduates of Sea School work in every facet of the U.S. maritime industries.
