  Teacher of German and English. My duties were to teach mostly higher level executives, with an emphasis on business. I have also taught the Joseph Williams writing course, and used it for teaching English writing to foreign students mostly from the Business School of Columbia University. I also worked on special programs for various private international companies, and helped develop an English program for the Japanese Police Academy. Former English students include such people as the Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany (Rexrodt), the chief officers of companies such as Mobil, Deutsche Gramophone, and Citicorp, along with the Governor and Secretary of Finance; and the Embassador to the United Nations from Tajikistan. When Berlitz introduced its online "Virtual Classroom", I was one of the first to be trained and to deliver classes in both German and English. Since I have not lived in New York City for quite a while, I have continued to work for Berlitz on a part-time basis with their online programs (which soon will include webcam delivery).
