  Responsible for:Developing and implementation of the Project Management System. Among the main activities is to verify that this stage is carried out based on the project base lines (Schedule, Scope and Cost), as well as the Project Management Plan subsidiaries. Also responsible to coordinate, manage, execute, measure, control (and implement/take actions when necessary) all the activities emanated from the plans and base lines. Also to control and request changes to the product and base lines.Solve deviations from the project in order to fit the demands, especially the Brazilian. As I have worked in Brazil as Superintendent, I have been the point of consultation of this project, especially for those mechanical issues but not limited to that since have been consulted for safety, electrical as well as other matters .Results:- Managed integrally the nine knowledge areas of the PMP developing all the control tools in Excel, structuring de baselines (cost, scope, time, etc.) and their KPIs, allowing, thus, an effective management.- Reduced six months the project delivery, by crushing the critical path and thanks to the time management tool created and exported to MS Project, avoiding fines of up $20 MUSD.- Increased the scope achievement up 98% by controlling the scope baseline, managing changes effectively and training my personnel.- Enhanced the project quality y quality management more than 50%, by means of quality measurement, monitoring and control, thus, reducing material waste and time from 2.8% to 1.1%.- Reduced costs to 12% by optimizing roles and labor (reducing extra-times and increasing personnel instead) and integrating results in a dashboard with traffic light colors, setting up criticalities and enhancing the decisions making.- Developed seven collaborators by coaching, mentoring, and empowerment. Likewise, I developed, with the collaboration of project team, the recognition system integrated to HR Management.

  Responsibilities: Manage the operations per contract with Petobras. Keep operative the semisubmersible DP II FLOATEL RELIANCE by managing all the operative areas of the company and onboard, like maintenance, logistics, supply chain, etc. Manage all the stakeholders requirements as contractual, class, flag, maritime, and other national and international requirements.Results:- Reduced overdue maintenance of critical and non-critical equipment to 79% and 89% respectively, by improving the management of the supply chain and maintenance.- Created an operations plan and a strategic plan , projecting maintenance to one year and anticipating the goods and services to be utilized, and unproductive downtimes.- Made the architecture of annual budget.- Covered the 92% of the annual budget, impacting in a decrease in logistic costs, and with the implementation of strategies in transportation.- Enhanced the chain value by 85%, increasing purchase orders with the same budget by 200%. Delayed orders were completed to 100%.- Managed to climb from third to first place in the ranking of the company.- Reduction of delivery time by 62% (from 240 to 90 days) with effective agreements, in addition to training personnel in importation processes.- Increased the effectiveness of annual and intermediate maintenance projects by more than 100% (from 45% to 96%) by correctly planning and managing the projects.- Solved 100% guarantee claims, 98% customer complaints, 80% nonconformities and 57% findings through proper stakeholder management and contract scope.- Increased profits by 8% with the evaluation and approval of value-added projects.- I established strategic operational training plans both internally and externally (Houston), consolidating the competencies of my employees, thereby obtaining the promotion of 5 of them to better positions.- Succeeded in winning the investment project to improve the utility in $ 2.5 MDD, with a ROI of 2.5.

  I worked for this project in Keppel Fels shipyard in Singapore where I was responsible for:Mechanical supervision, installation and testing of the machinery (DG, thrusters, pumps, compressors, HVAC, etc.), systems (sewage, fire, sea water, fresh water, bilge, fuel, lube oil, piping, etc.), and subsystems during construction. Conduct FMEA, DP and sea trials.Participate and advise to start this vessel’s first project with Petrobras at Campos’s basin in February 2011. I was also responsible to start the maintenance system of this vessel in an ERP (STAR IPS) for the maintenance schedule, execution and management; as well as, the management of the resources as spares, man power; planning and approval of purchase orders, etc. Assistance to Superintendent in the budget’s elaboration. Strategic and operation planning for the Vessel about her surveys and re-certifications.Results:- Certified the vessel by 100% per Brazilian norms (NR10, 13, etc.) by analysing and managing these norms.- Collaborate in 70% the commissioning and sea trials which was achieved in record time (internal record reduced in two days).- Collaborate 80% in surveys to operate in Brazil, which was achieved in a record time (two weeks), when this was generally achieved in 60 days.- Generated the maintenance plan of the vessel 100%, with the collaboration of the personnel working onboard which I trained in the management of the ERP.- Implemented an operational maintenance plan ensuring the necessary goods and services in the short term to achieve most of the maintenance plan.
