Source and Sell parts for Detroit Diesel, MTU engines and generators, and Allison Transmissions. Assist the technicians with getting the parts they need to repair engines and transmissions. Source parts locally and internationally. Use online and paper catalogs to identify order parts. Charge the parts to the appropriate work order. Credit unused parts off of the work order. Send unused parts back to vendors. Process cores back to the vendor for credits. I was also on the EH&S committee for 2 years. I would help in walk around inspections, identifying hazards and inspecting fire extinguishers. Show less

I would receive valves to be shipped out to customers from the shop. Filling out shipping paperwork, secure the valves to the pallets, and then load onto the trucks via fork lift or pallet jack. In the down time, I would also be the pick up and delivery driver for various parts and supplies. I would receive valves to be shipped out to customers from the shop.
