I currently work in the sustainability reporting of the water extraction process, soil/groundwater sampling, environmental auditing of landfill lining systems, contaminated land and industrial facility. Some examples of the tasks I perform are: For the sustainability reporting of the water extraction process and soil/groundwater sampling-Data validation and analysis on the gathered Bureau of Meteorology rainfall data, as well as on the provided production bores/monitoring wells water levels;-Use engineering software such as QGIS, EsDAT, MetroMap, etc to assist with figures building and soil analytes analysis;-Perform soil and groundwater samplings on-site using various engineering tools, while being compliant with the relevant Health and Safety requirements such as those specified under the White Card certificate;-Report writing and perform quality assurance checks on those reports;For environmental auditing of landfill lining systems-Project management and liaison with clients and other parties;-Preparation of assessment and auditing plans;-Review of quality assurance and on-site test data/information;-Review of third party construction quality reports, including the provision of comments;-Site inspection of lining system construction; and-Participation in preparation of advice and Environmental Audit Report.For contaminated land and industrial facility-Fieldwork to collect data on air quality level or contaminants; -Data modelling and tabulation;-Statistical analysis and data validation;-Investigation of historical land use and development of conceptual site models; and-Production of site plans/figures and digitisation of field proforma.
