Development of Automated Optical Measurement Systems using .NET (C#) "2020 Outstanding Performance" awarded by Instrument Systems (Germany) Key Projects: 1. CLT - Collimating Lens Tester (March 2021 - Current) Measurement system for collimation lens samples. The system analyzes beam spot images at various positions to characterize the beam profile. Involvement : Complete SW development of the system. Device control of camera, sourcemeter, and 5 axes motion control. Development and optimization of analysis algorithms through parallelization and SIMD for performant real-time analysis. GUI development for the customer including user-generated sequencing. 2. NF Measurement System (July 2020 ~ Current) A near-field measurement system for VCSEL samples. The system auto-aligns (6 axes) then measures the sample's beam quality and spectral properties. Involvement : Development of device and DUT control. Auto-alignment algorithm through image processing. Optical measurement and analysis algorithms. GUI customization in close communication with the customer. 3. PVT - Pulsed Vcsel Tester (March 2019 ~ June 2020) An automated measurement system for VCSEL samples. The system supports driving the DUT with nanosecond pulse widths and measures its electrical and optical results for LIV and temporal shape characterization. Involvement : Complete development of the GUI, with extended effort on data visualization. The device control and result analysis were developed as an API by Instrument Systems (Germany). The project was conducted in close collaboration, and in addition to developing the GUI, I served as the communicator for development, marketing, and customer feedback. 4. MS - Monitoring System (September 2018 ~ February 2019) A motion-automated system that supports various measurement equipment and DUTs to monitor its performance and calibration over time. Involvement: development of device control of various measurement equipment and system IO Show less
