Sweet Associates was the general contractor on a very challenging expansion and renovation of an existing surgery center at Northern Dutchess Hospital. This involved keeping the the existing surgery center and patient floors below open while building three new wings on existing roof tops. Sweet provided the most competitive price and held that price, working with us to obtain cost savings wherever possible to offset additional work resulting from concealed conditions always present with existing buildings. The project was delivered on time. Much of this facility is in very good condition and still in use today at the hospital We recently worked with Sweet Associates on the pre-construction planning for a new 20,000 sf medical services building for Glens Falls Hospital. Victor was actively involved in securing design consultants for the project, addressing site selection, site plan approvals, utility requirements, project estimating and constructability reviews. As a result of Sweet's services, the project was subsequently contracted below budget. We highly recommend Sweet Associates for construction management and general construction on challenging commercial and medical projects.
