I had the pleasure of working with Vicky for two years at Avondale College of Higher Education. In her role with me, Vicky was responsible for the project management of a complex multi-centre clinical trial. This required high level of organisation skills, including management of contracts, budgets and ethics and governance arrangements. Stakeholders included funding bodies, hospital management (health services), academics, clinical staff in hospitals, government and professional organisations. Vicky possesses excellent communication skills, including interpersonal skills, a true asset of hers. She was a team player and very well respected by her colleagues and peers. Vicky always worked with a high level of professionalism, ethical conduct and integrity. I have no hesitation in recommending Vicky. She is well suited to a range of positions, especially those involving project management and the ability to manage complex and competing demands from a range of stakeholders - doing so with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Vicky is an exceptional person who is constantly updating her skills to ensure that she can deliver to the highest possible standard. Vicky brought a new perspective to the senior managment group in South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, which was far beyond her role as equality and diversity adviser, important though that job was. Vicky has a broad network of friends and colleagues that gives her knowledge of the political and mangerial world which, in turn, allows her to bring an insight and fresh perspective to issues, that I have rarely found. I would be proud to work with Vicky again if the opportunity arises.

I was seconded to run the Gender Equality Duty Scheme for South Wales Fire & Rescue Service. Vicky headed the Diversity Team and provided excellent guidance and expertise that supported the successful completion of the project. Vicky has excellent interpersonal skills and is passionate about developing a fair and equitable workplace.
