I worked as a Consultant specialising in Travel Behaviour Change and Market Research. I have a strong background in the development and use of travel planning tools and valuable experience in social and market research. My combined experience in these areas has enabled me to gain a good understanding of the issues involved in changing people’s travel behaviour. I have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people from varying backgrounds. I have a passion for understanding why people develop specific travel habits and how these can be changed to improve quality of life.

Darlington Borough Council were one of three Sustainable Demonstration Towns and as part of this status delivered Personal Travel Planning (PTP) across the town (40,000+ households). My role was to prepare personal journey plans, engage with residents through community and workplace events and to deliver travel advisor training in the final year of the project.
