I craft and schedule social media content for four social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram) and report on analytics. I promote the work and achievements of the charity, working on PR, communicating with journalists, and writing it on social media. I update and work on the website and create and send newsletters. I communicate with various key stakeholders across the healthcare and charity sector to build relationships. I deal with internal communications and oversee the delivery of campaigns. I have represented the charity at international events, including the European Cancer Patient Coalition Conference in Brussels. This role has shown that I have a track record of developing and implementing strategies to improve reach and engagement. During my time in the role, these are some of my key achievements: - Over 460,000 people reached on social media organically. - Around 30,000 engagements with social media content- Over 41,000 users visit our website. - Over 133,000 page views. - The campaign I drove on Bladder cancer awareness month was the most successful it has ever been. - Made press in a range of publications, including the Guardian. - Worked with multiple partners on joint campaigns, including the NHS, MediaPlanet and the World Bladder Cancer Coalition.
