      Rutland Radio started broadcasting on 13th December 1998. I was part of the launch team and first original Field Sales Executive. I was completely responsible for generating airtime and sponsorship campaigns for local businesses. Prior to the launch day, I spent 3 months visiting, persuading and achieving sales orders from brand new customers to Rutland Radio. I was officially selling them fresh air, as I had nothing to show them or allow them to tune into! The Radio station launched and was a huge success.
