Bill Coburn
Vicky is a terrific educator and servant leader in education and STEM subjects. She is a former Member and Chairman of our County School Board, successfully winning two elections with strong community support, and has worked extensively to improve our schools, STEM, and vocational education. Vicky is a person of strong character and presently leads the STEM education, displays, and other areas as a key leader at our Virginia Air and Space Museum in Hampton.

Earth science students learn about a large range of topics such as meteorology, geology, astronomy, and oceanography. The AP environmental science students will go over major environmental issues and laws, we discuss how these issues effect all areas of the world and possible solutions to these issues. These classes last for a whole year, and also include a lab aspect. Worked with students to improve their technical writing skills within the content area. Coached students in the process of analyzing scientific data for the purpose of improving writing technical skills for the purpose of producing scientific reports. Currently holds the highest scores in Hampton City Schools for Earth Science. Also serves as SPED Case Manger for Phoebus high school. Show less
