  Responsible for a team of 10 staff, students and apprentices. This expanded as I became foundation stage manager across two nurseries. This provided me with the experience of working remotely. My skills i gained during qualifying in my Early years professional status (EYPS) and PTLLS/Assessor qualification allows me to confidently work in partnership with the staff to mentor, coach and support their continuous professional development through observation and assessments. I valued fresh and innovative ideas as a team collaboration to move practice forward using assessment tools such as step into quality and Lancashire quality award. These assessment tools supported my results driven skills to achieve outstanding by Ofsted in most areas. Assessing involved monitoring the teams learning journals, observations and planning ensuring Early years foundation stage curriculum and Ofsted standards were met and as well as punctuation and grammar needs. I'm known to always deliver my feedback with an empathetic and sensitive approach. My role enables me to practice many skills that mirror childcare assessor roles. My duties entail an interest to undertake personal professional development, ability to organise time tables of a variety of visits and meetings and administrative duties that work towards deadlines. I have a detailed knowledge on curriculum and study programmes to support individual learning plans. All of which i carried out through strong self motivation and the ability to work unsupervised. I have experience of a variety of communication skills with many professionals such as in colleges, universities, employment agencies and professionals from other early years settings. Managerial and leadership roles has allowed me to strengthen my skills in health and safety, appraisals and general learner/staff safety. Especially recently in more depth due to Covid regulations.
