Main goal was to gain quality referrals from hospitals, short-term rehabs, physician and specialty offices (ie. podiatry, orthopedic, neurology and independent/assisted senior living facilities) in my Cincinnati assigned territory. I would frequently meet with patients/family members to explain services and details about their initial visit with our clinical staff. In preparation of a referral I frequently worked with social workers, case managers and director of nursing/nurses to ensure proper paperwork is 100% filled out completely and we have accurate discharging information. Educating and presenting to referral sources, on a regular basis, how Buckeye provides the highest quality of care, report clinical feed back to key decision makers and build secure relationships to keep earning their business. Working closely with inside staff and intake department was very important as well as, attending weekly sales meetings, completing weekly reports. During my time at Buckeye, I Increased business in my territory in 2018, making Cincinnati the largest growing division of Buckeye. I also would organize monthly blood pressure screenings in 8 senior apartment buildings, and several senior centers, as well as educated the attendees when skilled home health care may be needed, and to contact me for the referral.
