Lisa Changadveja
During the Hillary campaign, Vicki organized our AAPIs Week of Action with just a few days' notice. She helped coordinate travel for over 70 volunteers nationwide, managed daily trainings and updates, managed donor relations for hospitality and the celebration party. She is very organized, detail-oriented, and overall a great professional to work with.
Kathy Wong
Vicki managed the event logistics and mobilized/led a team of 20+ volunteers to plan extremely successful Galas with over 250 attendees for APEX for many years. Specifically for 4 years from 2009-2012, I was the Gala Chair and I worked very closely with Vicki. She is professional, proactive, and solution-oriented. She draws from her extensive experience in non-profit, event planning, and the hospitality industry to make your events successful. She is a pleasure to work with and requires very little guidance/direction providing a high quality end-result.

General Manager, Jane Restaurant
-
May 2001 - Aug 2002
As part of the opening team for Jane Restaurant, I was responsible for preparing operational procedures for front-of-house staff, payroll, bookkeeping and ordering; training managers and servers, and managing day-to-day restaurant operations. Jane is a casual American bistro located between Greenwich Village and Soho. Since April 2001, neighborhood regulars and destination diners alike flock to Jane for its value-priced brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Jane also serves as an ideal location for private events, from business dinners to baby showers. The interior design is the result of skillful collaboration between the owners and accomplished commercial set designer, Stefan Beckman. The bi-level space is sleek yet comforting, marrying warm walls and wood furniture with a sophisticated modern sense of design. At Jane, the menu showcases an affinity for local ingredients with what New York magazine calls “cleverly tweaked but unpretentious American cuisine.” Toasted Ricotta Gnocchi with a parmesan truffle cream and a Grilled Fillet Mignon with a crisp potato waffle, roasted wild mushrooms and a bright chimichurri sauce are just some of Jane’s crowd-pleasing options.Enticing desserts like the seven layer chocolate cake, complete with chantilly cream, whipped ganache, and chocolate sauce make it hard not to indulge. To complement the food, Jane offers a hand-selected, extensive wine list and seasonally driven cocktails. Jane is owned and operated by Jeffrey Lefcourt and Glenn Harris of Corner Table Restaurants, who also own and operate The Smith, with three locations in New York City: The East Village, Midtown and The Upper West Side across from Lincoln Center. OUR COMMITMENTS We are committed to using the best possible ingredients in everything we serve. We seek out local, natural, organic and sustainable ingredients. From the fresh juices in our cocktails to the best local Wild Striped Bass available, our guests know from every bite they take we use only the best. Show less

Assistant General Manager
-
Feb 2001 - May 2001
Having first turned down an active recruitment by Bliss to serve as the General Manager of Bliss' flagship store and spa in SoHo, I agreed to serve in a temporary capacity as the Assistant General Manager and help Bliss develop formal operations and training procedures for its front end sales and reception staff and manage daily spa operations. During my tenure at Bliss, I fixed sales procedures that had gone awry upon the introduction of gift cards and boosted staff morale. Bliss is renowned for delivering the world's best facials, massages, waxing and nail services - highly effective treatments that are able to transform not only your appearance but also your overall state of mind. And we're the only spa that lets you bring that unique 'bliss'-perience home with products designed to make you look and feel healthy, beautiful and happy every day. It all started when we opened our first New York City location in 1996 and revolutionized the industry by taking a completely different approach to spas and skincare. While you'll certainly be pampered at Bliss, first and foremost our spas are about delivering advanced skin and body treatments that get real results. Behind those results is our team of the Best Techs on the Planet: hundreds of expert technicians from six continents around the world. These spa-thorities use cutting-edge skincare technology to develop state-of-the-art services that make you look and feel fabulous from head to toe - from our wrinkle-reducing The Youth As We Know It facial and radiance-enhancing Triple Oxygen Treatment? to our cellulite-targeting Fatgirlslim body treatment. And we translate that expertise into pro-powered products that let you recreate our treatments at home and reap the same spa-strength benefits. Show less
