I have recently had the pleasure of working with Vick on my organisation's Safer Workplaces for Women of Colour project. In 2021 we commissioned MindTribes to manage and deliver the research component of the project that aims to prevent and respond to race-based discrimination in the workplace. From the outset, Vick brought an impressive array of diverse skills and experiences and a deep commitment to the work. He quickly built a wonderful rapport with us which cemented our strong partnership with MindTribes and reassured us that the project was in the very safe hands of someone whose values and goals aligned with our own. Vick has brought an immense amount of critical thinking, knowledge and experience, savvy project management skills and a true commitment to the work he has done with us. His working style is inclusive and highly collaborative. He has a strategic and analytical mind and has successfully managed shifting priorities and timelines whilst remaining incredibly responsive to us as a client. I have truly appreciated the opportunity to work with Vick - his commitment to the project based on his lived experience and social values have been inspiring. He has given very generously of his professional time to provide advice and support for the work and I have genuinely enjoyed our conversations and the insights he has shared. In summary, the research report MindTribes has produced for us is a professional, evidence-based and insightful piece of work that has been critical in obtaining buy-in from senior leaders. I wholeheartedly recommend MindTribes and Vick for projects that require a sensitive, nuanced approach and superior levels of client care. I look forward to continuing our working relationship in 2022.
