Idea selected upon developed mission concepts for ESA’s European Large Logistic Lander which is prepared to deliver 1.5 tonnes of payload to locations from equator to poles on the moon through a sequence of missions from 2020s into the 2030s. Project involves hunting for freshly impacted meteorite material on the moon where the absence of atmosphere allows them to prevent their pristine features and could give insight and traces of early conditions and processes of solar system. Key tasks include analysis of mission & user/science requirements, selection/definition of payload equipment and its operational strategies. Other tasks for the later design stages include design and simulation of the hunter in lunar terrain. Show less
