  • Served as a subject matter expert in human trafficking prevention and youth empowerment. • Administered the Arizona Human Trafficking Council (AzHTC) and the Governor’s Youth Commission (GYC), and aligned their work with the Governor’s priorities for the state. • Built and maintained relationships with local, state, and federal officials and community partners to advance the work of the AzHTC and the GYC. • Represented the Governor and presented the gubernatorial proclamation at the City of Tempe Tardeada during Hispanic Heritage Month. • Designed and implemented a system to measure the annual impact youth commissioners have throughout the state, which captured the commissioners rendering more than 2,340 service hours and soliciting more than 17,440 service hours from their peers. • Guided the youth commissioners in developing a project to collect and donate 5,719 items, with a monetary value of more than $19,600, to domestic violence shelters throughout Arizona. • Led the annual coordination of the gubernatorial proclamation, public awareness campaign, press release, and the signature AzHTC Symposium for Human Trafficking Prevention Month. • Counseled the AzHTC Co-Chairs, council members, and workgroups in six broad areas: training, outreach and awareness, victim services, policy, state and national collaboration, and research. • Served as a senior associate to the Arizona Co-Chair of the Community and Social Organizations Committee of the Arizona-Mexico Commission. • Managed the disbursement of $1,225,000 and provided programmatic oversight to sub-grantees for the Child Care and Development Block Grant program. • Supported the administration of the Governor’s Council on Child Safety and Family Empowerment and the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging. • Promoted the Community Engagement Team in advancing public engagement for the Governor’s Office.
