I started working in Verafede when I was still studying and doing my dissertation. My job was to do menial tasks at first to give me a better understanding of the business through experience and was mentored by her in every aspect of the business from finances to operations especially coming from a very technical background. Two of the many skills I developed, with Ms. Vero’s mentorship, are being keen on details and being service oriented. Our core value is stewardship, we take every project to heart and it’s been our North star since day one. From a humble beginning of literally encoding receipts to now being able to understand and interpret financial statements without the aid of an accountant. I’ve honed my skills in managing and operating a marketing firm where I was lucky enough to be given major decision making roles to grow and expand the business she founded. Of course, all decisions I’ve made were guided by the wisdom of my mentor who I’m lucky enough to also call my mom 😀
